What will you be doing?
Student interns will have an opportunity to gain a wide variety of experiences with a concentration on digital video production. Candidates for this internship should be interested in server based video production in a fast paced newsroom environment. Student interns will also learn about photojournalism and may have opportunities to edit video for air via a variety of editing tools. Duties may include ingesting raw video to digital server as well as converting file-based video to house format. Interns will learn the process of researching data to accompany raw video for archival purposes. Interns may have the opportunity to accompany local field shoots and observe live shots, interviews, and assist with b-roll acquisition. Interns may have the opportunity to shadow other positions including, writing, documenting, studio production, and producing.
What do we need from you?
Candidates should be passionate about news, self-motivated, able to multitask, have a good attitude, and be able to function well in fast paced, high volume environment.

Program dates are January 22nd through April 20th.
Interns are paid at least minimum wage ($13/hour), up to 20 hours/week, and relocation is not provided.
